Why not use a localhost tunnel service? Lots of those out there (and many offer https support, too)

My home network has DNS records and static IP addresses so I can freely share. I was curious if it's possible to set your reverse DNS to be the IP address itself. It seems something like 1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa doesn't resolve for almost all IPs I tried. I believe it depends on the provider. I thought I'd come across a service that did this and then I managed to find xip.io
