Mark Dain Tip for anyone who leaves their Mac sleeping rather than shutting it down; when you wake it up, type "sudo killall -HUP powerd"; there's a bug in El Capitan only? where powerd will eat your CPU. I don't know why this happens or why SIGHUP fixes it

Mark Dain Wasn't a problem on Mavericks; the best version of OS X ever. I'd stay on it if Apple would update it; it receives the odd security update but nothing for Safari, for instance

Eric I'm getting warnings on things now (like Chrome) saying that they've dropper or are dropping support for the OS.
