Adam Douglas Just dug up my Blackberry from way back when. Quite nice to have as a testing tool actually and it's honestly nice to have a physical keyboard again.

Martijn In what cases do you prefer the physical keyboard?

Adam Douglas Well, online forms for one. Even some of the better responsive websites end up quite annoying to use when the virtual keyboard pops up and can get in the way; with a physical keyboard, this problem is eliminated. Mostly I prefer physical keyboards because there's no lag. This is a more significant issue on Android, but even on iOS there can be a moment or two before the keyboard actually appears, whereas on a BlackBerry you're just ready to go. I also type very quickly and a physical keyboard can keep up, while virtual keyboards sometimes hold me back a bit.

John Olinda I've always had an itch to buy a Bold or the Q10. My mom got a Blackberry when I was in college and I loved the keyboard and trackball.

Adam Douglas I'm tempted by the BlackBerry Classic though it seems quite big. What I like the most about my BlackBerry Curve is that it's tiny and discrete, a little email/SMS/calls machine that doesn't bother me unless it's important.
